Ian has worked in "the trade" for many years, starting with a mechanical apprenticeship with VW, then becoming interested in body repair, learning all the necessary skills for each process along the way.

Before taking on the business, Ian worked on the shop floor and in management, in both small and large establishments. Over the years he has gained a reputation for high quality work, with all jobs receiving the same attention whether major or minor.

A special interest in Minis has developed over the years, and in 1995 and 1997 our Imperial Blue 1275 GT won three seconds at Brighton and awards at many other shows. This started the Mini ball rolling. The Imperial Blue 1275 GT was sold 8 years after completing the renovation on it and the paintwork looked as good as new. The new owner subsequently went on to win a runner-up award for best in car park at Gaydon. We have a Mini 40 which won the Anniversary Class in the 2005 London to Brighton Concourse.

Ian completes the work with the help of one competent Mini Nut - Tink,  to lessen the load. We try wherever possible to complete one project before starting on another, offering a personal service which many larger establishments cannot. We offer advice to help decide which option is best for a car, so customers can bring in an ailing Mini and have it repaired, refurbished or renovated to their requirements, finally choosing the colour. Wherever possible genuine Rover parts are fitted, otherwise good quality pattern parts are used if the originals are no longer available. Cover panels are never used.

The work done to your Mini will add many extra years to it's life. Whether you wish to individualise your beloved car, return it to its original glory as it drove through the factory doors, or have your accident damage put right.

We pride ourselves on our skill, enthusiasm and dedication which have created a reputation of which we are very proud.
